On September 29, 2020, it has been determined that one additional nursing facility staff member tested positive for COVID-19. We have not had three or more residents or staff develop new onset of respiratory symptoms occurring within 72 hours of each other. Therefore, cumulatively to date since March 2020 we have a total of four nursing facility residents with one being a recovered case from June 2020 and a total of two nursing facility staff members who tested positive for COVID-19. We are taking necessary infection prevention and control measures to limit potential exposures which includes but not limited to testing the residents and staff and creating cohorting zones as per the Pennsylvania Department of Health guidance.
