COVID-19 test results update

To date, we have had one additional positive COVID-19 test result from an employee and no additional residents testing positive and we have not had three or more residents or staff with new onset of respiratory symptoms occurring within 72 hours of each other. It has been determined that this new positive employee was not near any residents during their potentially infectious period. It is believed that their exposure happened outside of St. Anne Home. Therefore, cumulatively to date since March 2020 we have a total of four nursing facility residents and a total of five nursing facility staff members who tested positive for COVID-19 at various times during this seven-month period. We are taking necessary infection prevention and control measures to limit potential exposures which includes but not limited to testing the residents and staff and creating cohorting zones as per the Pennsylvania Department of Health guidance.
